The easiest way to be in control of ones body is with nutrition. Eat fruits, vegetables, and seeds for wellness of mind and body, strength, balanced hormones, and a healthy planet.

High dose Vitamin C or fruits and veggies high in Vitamin C every hour for the first 24-48 hours can prevent implantation of fertilized egg into the uterus.

Some activities can put a pregnancy at risk such as vigorous exercise, water skiing, jacuzzi, or use of a water slide.

It’s estimated that half of pregnancies end in natural spontaneous abortion when thebody determines that the embryo is not viable due to timing of fertilization and deterioration of egg or sperm. If menstruation is late and flow is heavy it may be a natural spontaneous abortion.

Retire Lolita

Rally for Lolita, June 16, 2018 11am-1pm outside Water Country, Portsmouth, NH. Retire Lolita to an ocean pen near her family and Mom still calling to her 48 years after her kidnapping in 1970. Normally whales, intelligent loving sociable animals, dive 500′ deep and swim 100+ miles per day with their pod, so living away from her family in a 20′ deep 30′ wide pool with no protection from the sun and being forced to perform unnatural acts several times a day for food is not normal or in her best interest. She deserves to go back to the ocean (pen or wild open if possible) to live out her remaining life. Another interesting thing about whales is that algae that feed off whale poo produce a larger percentage of the earth’s oxygen which human’s need to survive.

Lolita the orca was captured off the coast of Washington state at a young age and has been enslaved and imprisoned in a tiny tank at Miami Seaquarium and forced to perform unnatural stunts for food for 40+ years. Meanwhile her family pod is still swimming together in the ocean and her Mom still calls out to her and she still calls out to her Mom after 40+ years. In the wild orcas swim 100+ miles per day in close knit family units. Orca’s brains have advanced capacity to communicate and love. It’s time to retire Lolita first to a sea pen and then maybe the wild ocean to live out her natural life with her family.

Happy Thanksgiving! :)

I am very passionate about mothering and believe parenting is the most important “job” there is. I always wanted to be a mom and had great examples from my Mom who had seven children and paternal Grandmother who had six children and both stayed home to raise them. I babysat two boys for ten years (1969-1979) the last five summers of which were full time from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, worked as an assistant teacher in a daycare for a few years (1977-1979), and studied early-childhood education in college. While those experiences made me feel accomplished, they paled by comparison to pregnancy, childbirth, and being a full time 24 hours a day 365 days a year attachment style mom with deeply bonded love for my child. Attachment parenting helped me be very intuitive, natural, calm, focused, and effective in my mothering. I was faced with huge challenges yet I still managed to keep bonding. I will share some of the books which helped me mother with ease. I have worked with school students since 1991 to present, taught religious education (1994-1996), been a foster-parent, and used information from these books on a regular basis.

My favorite parenting book, Magical Child by Joseph Chilton Pearce, explains in detail how intelligence develops in humans and what practices to use and avoid. The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by Diane Wiessinger, Diana West, and Teresa Pitman, supports and explains in detail the lost art of breastfeeding. The Family Bed by Tine Thevenin, explains how to peacefully and lovingly share sleep. Raising Your Spirited Child: A Guide for Parents Whose Child Is More Intense, Sensitive, Perceptive, Persistent, and Energetic by Mary Sheedy Kurcinka, tells how to lovingly raise spirited children. Parent Effectiveness Training: The Proven Program for Raising Responsible Children by Thomas Gordon, helps create family peace and harmony and effective discipline with the use of “I Statements” that work for all interpersonal relationships. Primal Mothering in a Modern World by Hygeia Halfmoon, describes intuitive mothering. Children Learn What They Live explains how parental attitudes affect children.  Raw Family by Victoria Boutenko tells how she and her husband Igor, son Sergei, and daughter Valya improved their health dramatically. I hope you enjoy these books and happy parenting. :) I recommend reading them before conceiving your child.
