Green Blendie yum! My basic recipe for a blendie is 10+ oz fruit, 5-6 cups water, handful greens, 1-4 tablespoon fats (seeds or nuts) depending on body weight and transition. Because of long time prior health challenges, I like to add ginger and sometimes spirulina or cacao powder. I like to call a “smoothie” a “blendie” because most people think a smoothie has ice in it and I don’t use ice and I use warm water in the winter in New England. A blendie is my favorite breakfast that I have every day!
