Lolita the orca was captured off the coast of Washington state at a young age and has been enslaved and imprisoned in a tiny tank at Miami Seaquarium and forced to perform unnatural stunts for food for 40+ years. Meanwhile her family pod is still swimming together in the ocean and her Mom still calls out to her and she still calls out to her Mom after 40+ years. In the wild orcas swim 100+ miles per day in close knit family units. Orca’s brains have advanced capacity to communicate and love which humans should do more. It’s time to retire Lolita to a sea pen and the wild to live out her natural life.
